As a mother, it can be difficult to manage successfully both your work and family life. But having a good work-life balance is key to staying healthy, both physically and mentally.
In saying this, there are weeks that I feel I fail as a Mumma, but I push on and continue to do my best & openly remind my kids that I too am not perfect & that is life.
Here are some tips I make a conscious effort to focus on for MYSELF in order to help me achieve balance in my life:
💫 Prioritize your time: Learning how to allocate your time wisely is essential for managing your work-life balance. Make a list of all the activities you want to do and prioritize them by importance.
💫Exercise: Exercise is a great way to not only reduce stress but also improve your overall health. Even if it is just a few minutes a day, it can make a huge difference in how you feel.
💫Take regular breaks: Taking short breaks throughout the day can help you to stay focused and energized. This could be anything from a quick walk around the block to a cup of tea with a friend.
💫Spend quality time with family: Quality time with family is essential for maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Set aside time each day to spend with your family, whether it's an hour of playing a game or just cuddling on the couch.
💫Connect with friends: Spending time with friends can be a great way to relax and unwind. Connecting with friends can also be a great way to get support and advice for managing your work-life balance.
💫Make time for yourself: Taking some time out for yourself is crucial for maintaining a healthy work-life balance. As you focus on you, it is important not to forget about your littles - This can be tricky especially during hard times or busier periods, but here are some tips that work for me:

💖Prioritize your tasks. Make sure you are focusing on the most important tasks first, and that you are not wasting time on smaller, less important tasks.
💖Delegate when necessary. Don't be afraid to ask for help from family and friends.

💖Communicate with your kids. Make sure your kids know what to expect and that they understand why they need to follow certain rules.
💖Remain flexible. Life is unpredictable, and sometimes things won't always go as planned. Be prepared to adjust your schedule and expectations as needed.
💖Take care of yourself. Make sure you are getting enough sleep and eating healthy. This will help you stay alert and energized throughout the day.
💖Keep your support system close. Make sure to reach out to family and friends when you need help or just need to vent.
💖Have fun. Don't forget to enjoy the journey and make time for fun activities with your kids.
The juggle is real, and the mum guilt is even more REAL!!
But just remember, we aren't perfect, and it is ok not to be perfect. Do your best & keep smiling - GREAT THINGS are about to happen when you start to put yourself first & you manage your time right.
